GDPR

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data is processed in connection with using vipgoldwarszawa.pl and with getting in touch about a booking for the VIP GOLD apartment, and what rights you have. We have tried to keep this document simple and honest, without unnecessary legal jargon where it can be avoided.

1 · Data controller

The data controller is Gabriel Piśko, Ułanów 27R/1, 05-552 Kolonia Warszawska, Poland, email: poczta@djgabrieldelgado.eu, phone: +48 509 056 086. He is responsible for how data is processed in connection with this site and with running the apartment.

2 · What we do not collect

The site has no contact forms, does not require creating an account, does not use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and does not set its own cookies. If you visit the site without clicking the map or any external links, you leave no personal data behind other than what the hosting provider collects anyway as part of standard server logs, described below.

3 · Providing your data is voluntary

Giving us your contact details when asking about a booking is voluntary but necessary — without them we cannot reply or confirm a booking, or send you the door code.

4 · Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States). As part of normal server operation, logs are kept containing the IP address, the time of the request and the URL of the page visited — solely for security purposes and to keep the service running reliably. Because Netlify is located outside the European Economic Area, this data is transferred on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and participation in the Data Privacy Framework.

5 · Availability calendar

The calendar shown on the apartment pages only fetches information from Booking.com about dates that are already booked, so it can show which dates are free. This mechanism does not process any personal data of visitors — only general availability information is retrieved, with no link to a specific person.

6 · Contact via WhatsApp, phone and email

If you contact us via WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we process the data you provide that way (such as your name, phone number and the content of your message) in order to reply and handle your enquiry or booking. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken before entering into a contract and to perform it) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (the controller's legitimate interest in communicating efficiently with guests). The WhatsApp number and phone line belong to the controller and are handled by him directly.

7 · Bookings through Booking.com

A booking can be made directly through Booking.com. In that case, the controller of the data provided during the booking process is Booking.com B.V., acting as a separate, independent controller — how that data is processed is described in Booking.com's own privacy policy, available on its website.

8 · Google Maps

The site shows a preview of the apartment's location, but the actual Google Map only loads after you click the "Show map" button — until then, no data is sent to Google. Once clicked, Google may set its own cookies in line with its privacy policy, available on Google's website.

9 · Links to external services

The site contains links to Instagram, Revolut and PayPal. These are independent, external services — if you choose to use them, how your data is processed is governed by those services' own terms and privacy policies, not by this document.

10 · Fonts

The typefaces used on the site are hosted locally, on the same server as the rest of the site — they are not loaded from external services such as Google Fonts, so no data is shared with third parties through them.

11 · Who we share data with

Apart from the parties named in this policy — the hosting provider, Booking.com for a booking made through it, and Google if you voluntarily open the map — contact data is not shared with other parties or used for marketing purposes without separate consent. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

12 · No profiling or automated decisions

We do not use profiling or automated decision-making that would produce legal effects concerning you. Messages from guests are read and answered directly by the controller — there is no automated system scoring or segmenting personal data here.

13 · Data security

We take care to keep the data shared in messages appropriately secure — correspondence is handled only through the channels named in this document (WhatsApp, phone, email), and only the controller has access to it.

14 · Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO) if you believe processing breaches data protection law. To exercise these rights, please contact us at poczta@djgabrieldelgado.eu.

15 · Retention period

Correspondence relating to enquiries and bookings is kept until the matter is concluded, and then for the period resulting from the statute of limitations for any claims. Data related to settling a booking is kept for the period required by tax regulations.

16 · Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time, for example following a change to how the site works or to the law. The current version is always available at this address, together with the effective date given below.
